As the name implies, these weekends are a chance for everyone, including families, to get together for a few days away from home at the lovely Purley Chase Centre in Warwickshire. Interesting talks for adults, creative learning for children and plenty of time for discussion and fun are always on the menu, along with the delicious meals provided by the centre.
You arrive Friday evening after supper there is worship and then a fun Ice Breaker activity, a chance to get to know lots of people.
On Saturday there are 2 classes in the morning for adults, and separate classes activities for the older and younger kids.
After lunch there is a chance to walk around and explore the local area and wonderful countryside close to Purley Chase, whilst the children play Olympics / Sports in the grounds.
Late afternoon there is another session, which varies, depending on needs, it might be an interesting talk or discussion about a topic someone is passionate about, or it might be another session discussing the New Church in the UK.
After supper there is another fun activity, which may be a quiz or other game.
On Sunday morning, there is another chance to explore the local area on a walk, before a Sunday Service with Holy Supper.
