Newchurch.org.uk is responsible for your personal data (referred to as"we","us" or "our" in this privacy notice).
We will always obtain your consent before capturing any images / videos.

2. What Data do we collect about you and How?
We will require your consent before we capture any videos / photos at any of our events. This is captured in a form which you will sign.
Live Streaming
We always focus on the minister during the service, but you may be shown when standing during hymns or move into the camera view. We do have a Camera Free area at the back of church. - similar system is setup for remote live streaming.
Zoom meetings
We will notify all attendees if we wish to record the meeting and will obtain your consent before recording starts. If we intend to share this after the meeting we will also get your consent. Sharing will be done in a secure way - with a separately distributed password.
Photos and Videos
Photos and videos may be taken at events for the purpose of future advertising of events across our social media channels and website.
3. How we use your personal data
Live Streaming
We Live Stream to our Michael Church Facebook Page - where they remain for 1 month before Facebook automatically removes them. They are then uploaded to our YouTube channel where they remain part of our service archive.
We may use parts of the service to create social media content shown across our social media channels (See disclosure below).
Zoom meetings
Zoom meeting recordings will never be made publicly accessible. If with the consent of ALL present they may be shared with other members of the congregation, for example when someone misses a class.
Photos and Videos
Photos and videos captured at events may be used for advertising events across our social media channels (See Disclosures below).
You have the right to withdraw consent to at any time Contact Data Controller.
4. Disclosures of your personal data
We may use part of the live streamed service, your photos and videos to create social media content shown across our social media channels
We will NEVER share zoom meetings on our channels.

5. International Transfers
We share your media data with Social Media companies who will transfer your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) do not always offer the same levels of protection to your personal data, so European law has prohibited transfers of personal data outside of the EEA unless the transfer meets certain criteria. This is governed and controlled by the Social Media companies themselves.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

If we do not fix the issue, or your are unhappy with the response you can escalate the issue to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
