Sunday Worship
- Our Sunday church services are from 11:00 am to about 11:50 am
- We recommend you arrive before 10:50am as we start promptly at 11:00am for our live streaming audience.
- No dress code (dress comfortably)
- We welcome children of all ages
- After an opening hymn and prayer, the pastor gives a Bible-based, interactive message for children
- Next the pastor’s lesson and sermon explores the Bible through the lens of New Church teachings and draws spiritual principles to apply in daily life.
- Immediately after the sermon we have a group discussion for raising questions and sharing insights.
- We foster a contemplative study of the Lord’s Word to encourage reflecting on the two great commandments: Love the Lord and love our neighbors.
Family Service & Sunday School
- Once a month we have a Family Service - called Feast & Friendship
- After the children’s portion, children move downstairs to the Sunday School room for supervised activities. (Parents are welcome to join too)
- Sunday School at our family services once a month, offers children a fun, social environment in which to learn the stories of the Bible and grow their affection for the Lord.
- Parents are asked to supervise their own nursery-aged children.
- We also have a separate teens Sunday School for more in-depth discussion about a passage of the bible or a passage from Swedenborg's writings.
- All people who run Sunday School are DBS checked.
- After service we provide a meal (usually pizza and vegetables) downstairs at the church - all are welcome to join.

How to find us
By Tube
Michael Church is about 0.8 miles from Brixton Tube Station and 1.0 miles from Stockwell Station - both stations are at the south end of the Victoria Line.
By Car
Michael Church is easy to find using postcode in your satnav. Parking is free on the weekend on Burton Road.
Michael Church is within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) you can check if your car is except on the TFL Website ULEZ. Otherwise you have to pay a daily charge (£12.50 as of June 2026)
If you have to drive through central London you may also be liable for Congestion Charge (12:00-18:00 Sat-Sun) (£18 as of June 2026) - again you can check on the TFL Website Congestion Charge.
